Council 2771 annually serves fried fish dinners at St. Matthew Church in Longview on Fridays during Lent. Customers provide free will donations toward the cost of the meal if they are able. No one is turned away. In 2025, the Council netted $1,060 over the cost of food supplies. On Sunday May 25, the Council conveyed the funds to Msgr. Xavier who will deposit them in the St. Matthew Church Building and Maintenance Fund. The Council appreciates all members who donated their time to this worthy event and to all customers who came on Fridays to share a meal and community with us!
